I’m an Associate Director of Advising and the Director of Staff Training & Development in Advising. I have worked at Hunter College since 2010. I enjoy working with undergraduates transitioning into our college, helping them navigate their journeys and cheering them on as they finish their degrees. I love working with our talented students, who enrich me and my practice. I also enjoy my role training our colleagues and mentoring them as they grow in their professional practice. I have worked in higher education for nearly all of my professional career. My experience has included roles in advising, program administration, staff development, systems and operations. I have a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in Higher Education from Boston College. I have a PhD in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago. My research is on bachelor’s degree attainment, retention and student success.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing volunteer work, touring and exploring in New York City as well as traveling.
