Omar Dahbour is a professor in the Department of Philosophy. His research focuses on International ethics (sovereignty, global justice), ethics of war and violence, philosophy of history, political philosophy, late modern philosophy (Hegel, Marx), Marxist and critical theory.

Professor Omar Dahbour has taught full-time at Hunter College since 1998. He has held teaching appointments at Ohio University, Colorado College, and other institutions.
