Steps for CUNY-to-CUNY Transfers
Make a Group Advising Appointment
- View available days/times on Navigate.
- Select an option and follow prompts to finalize.
All transfer students are assigned an academic advisor after attending Group Advising.
Reminder: Class seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis and we strongly recommend that you register for a group advising session as early as possible for the widest availability of classes for the semester.
Make An Advising Appointment To:
- Analyze and discuss your transfer credits and/or course equivalencies.
- Clarify Hunter’s graduation requirements with your transfer credit information.
- Review, discuss and adjust (if needed) your class schedule to develop a holistic plan.
- Connect to Hunter resources.
All transfer students are assigned an academic advisor after attending Group Advising.
Note: Advisors experience a high volume of student appointments during the on boarding season for new transfers, and you may have to search for meeting dates a week or two in the future. Do not wait for an appointment to register for classes; during the advising session you will review your course selection and make any necessary adjustments.
