The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) works collaboratively to protect the Hunter College community and minimize the risk of accidents and injuries through occupational and environmental safety programs, training courses and more.

EMERGENCIES

In the event of an emergency, please call 212-772-4444 (internal 1-4444)

This will allow the Office of Public Safety to respond to the scene with immediate assistance.  Public safety officers will call 911 if necessary to provide required information and directions.

The goal of Hunter's EHS policies and procedures is to prevent emergencies, increase safety awareness, protect the environment and maintain regulatory compliance.
