Profile
Tim Mccullough, a native and life-long New Yorker, studied environmental science at St. John’s University. After a career in the private sector, he joined Hunter College’s Environmental Health and Safety team in 2013. Initially hired to focus on fire and laboratory safety, his responsibilities expanded to include fire extinguisher and fume hood inspections, procuring goods and services, processing invoices and more.
There isn’t much that EHS does that Tim is not involved in, making him EHS’ resident “jack of all trades.” Tim’s certifications include Hazwoper, RCRA, DOT and he is a licensed New York State asbestos inspector. His focus, as well as that of the entire EHS team, is to ensure and maintain the safest and healthiest environment for all Hunter students, faculty and staff.
