Orgullo Film Series: Session One--Artists and Athletes from the Puerto Rican Diaspora 

The Center for Puerto Rican Studies’ Puerto Rican Heritage Cultural Ambassador Program presents a two part film series of exciting short documentaries highlighting the contributions of individuals, groups and organizations that have had a profound impact on the Puerto Rican experience in the United States. Session One highlights Noel Quiñones, (Nuyorican Poet) ; Con Salsa- Jose Masso, (Radio Personality); Wally Amaro (handball) and Serrano Sisters (boxing); Pedro Brull (Visual Artist); and, Asi Somos (Photobook). Teaching guides and quizzes are available for each film. A library presentation and tour will be provided after the presentation.
