Navigate is an interactive, integrated on-line student success tool powered by EAB, an education technology company. Navigate has two separate components:
Navigate Student offers students the ability to make appointments, connect with campus resources, and view holds, among other functions. Students can receive alerts and text or email messages through this service, which is available via a smartphone app and a website.
Navigate enables staff, faculty, and other authorized users to identify and connect students more efficiently with the various support programs and enrichment opportunities at the college. Users can manage appointments, conduct email campaigns, handle student caseloads, take notes, view student records and provide students with advice and guidance. Faculty alerts and referrals will be managed by Navigate.
Navigate will enhance and simplify both our staff and student experience at Hunter. For example, Navigate makes it easier for advisors to review student records, keep notes, and send messages, notifications and reminders. Students will be able easily manage many aspects of their campus experience.
Navigate will help to better coordinate and connect the work of advisors, major advisors, faculty, staff and tutors. By linking this work into a coordinated care network and by giving students easier access to advising and other resources and services, this service will help the College to improve student outcomes.
