On 8/11/20, Hunter hosted this online public program as part of the Hunter@Home series.
Professor Benjamin Hett guides us through “The Nazi Menace” and looks behind the scenes in Berlin, London, Moscow, and Washington, revealing the unsettled politics within each country in the wake of the German dictator’s growing provocations. It is the story of a worldwide crisis of democracy, of ‘adults in the room’ trying and failing to control a wild and irrational ruler, of a tide of refugees meeting racism and nativism, of people and leaders who willingly collaborate with hostile foreign powers. Through this story we see both the past and the present in a new way.
The event concluded with a live, virtual, Q&A
