Project Description
When drainage systems in science laboratories contain the discharge of corrosive and toxic wastes, special attention should be placed in treating that waste. That is why Hunter College is investing in upgrades throughout the North Building (9th, 7th, 3rd, 1st, Mezzanine and C-level floors) that will ensure that acidic waste is neutralized in new, state-of-the-art neutralization tanks before being discharged.
