How To Apply

For All Students

Have your PSAT/SAT scores and parent consent form ready before applying if you plan to upload them to your application. Your transcript does not need to be uploaded since we will receive an updated copy automatically from NYCPS as long as you enter your OSIS number correctly on your application.

Alternatively, you can email your supporting documents to a College Now staff member.

If you are using a recommendation letter to apply, the letter can be emailed directly to a College Now staff member by your teacher or guidance counselor.

User Registration

Step 1:

  • Click on the following link to start your registration: Admission Application
  • If you are having issues with the application link, make sure that you are logged off from CUNYfirst and/or clear your cookies/browsing history
  • Select College Now from the undergraduate non-degree application menu
  • Indicate if you’ve applied or were previously enrolled in College Now with Yes or No
  • Select Hunter

Step 2:

  • Enter Biographical Data
  • Enter personal email for registration
  • Create a Username and password
  • Click “Register Now” to save your profile
New Application

Personal Information:

  • Log in to the main application page with user registration information
  • Add additional personal information
    • Phone and Address
    • Residency
    • Citizenship
    • Social security – recommended to enter it here if you have one. If you do not have one, you would still be able to apply.

Academic Interest:

  • Select term (Fall 2025)
  • Click Add College and select Hunter
  • Select up to 3 course offerings
  • Save and continue to the next page

Supporting Information:

  • Select the option “U.S high school” and then search your school's information with the “High School Search” button
  • Select your school from the search menu
  • Indicate when you started high school and when you expect to graduate
  • Indicate when you expect to receive your high school diploma/degree
  • Enter your OSIS Number
  • Save and continue

Submission:

  • Upload any other supporting documents (PSAT/SAT, Parent Consent Form, Recommendation letter). Transcript does not need to be uploaded since we will receive an updated copy automatically from NYCPS.
  • Check the agreement box and click the submission button

The deadline is July 3rd.

  • All documents must be received by the College Now office by July 3rd.
  • Send all of your documents together either by uploading your documents to your online application or emailing the documents to a College Now staff member.
