Jason Young
Associate Professor, Deputy Chair of the Council on Honors
Dr. Jason Young is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology and the Deputy Chair of the Council on Honors. Dr. Young's active projects include research on fear of crime, including a Fulbright-funded project on perceptions of public safety by residents of Trinidad and Tobago; the influence of risk-taking perceptions on daily activities, such as how we spend and save money; and the role of unpredictability in our evaluation of entertainment, such as music.
