Ara Basmajian is a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. His research interests include hyperbolic geometry, Reimann surfaces and geometric structures on manifolds.

PROFILE

Professor Ara Basmajian is an integral member of the Department of Mathematics and Statics at Hunter College, having mentored students at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. He is also the executive officer of the doctoral program in mathematics at the CUNY Graduate Center.
