Appeal Procedure and Form

If you believe your math placement is not on target, that is, your math achievements to date warrant being placed higher, you can submit an appeal to the Faculty Coordinator of the course in which you wish to register:

• Math 10100 Algebra for College Students, 3 credits, 4 hours, Prof. Barry Cherkas
• Math 10400 Mathematics for Elementary Education I, 3 credits, 3 hours, Ms. Barbara Barone
• Stat 11300 Elementary Statistics, 3 credits, 3 hours, Prof. Sandra Clarkson
• Math 12400 College Algebra & Trigonometry, 4 credits, 4 hours, Mr. Michael Samra
• Math 12550 Precalculus with Workshop, 4 credits, 5 hour, Prof. Barry Cherkas
• Math 15000 Calculus I, 4 credits, 4 hours, Prof. Martin Bendersky
• Math 15200 Calculus for the Life and Social Sciences, 4 credits, 4 hours, Prof. Martin Bendersky

Please complete and submit the following information with transcripts of math coursework and Regents scores, SAT scores, and college math (if any).
