POLSC 298.01-06 (1-6 credits)

Students may take independent study internships only under the supervision of full-time members of the department. As a general rule, the students should have taken a prior course with this professor. Students must get the permission of a faculty supervisor before they can register. Departmental permission will not be granted without explicit approval of the supervisor. Student should have their faculty supervisor sign the Internship Form and submit the completed form to the Political Science Department in HW1724.

Students must have completed 30 credits overall and 6 credits in Political Science to be eligible for internship credit. Transfer credits count for both the 30 overall and 6 Political Science credits.

Students may take an independent study, an honors course, and/or an internship more than once. No more than 6 credits of internship may be applied to the major in political science.
