The Hunter College Administration is excited to collaborate with the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) to host an event intended to support undocumented members of our Hunter College community. The DACA and TPS Fair will take place at Thomas Hunter Hall, Room 208 on Thursday, March 17 from 11am - 3pm (last walk-in will be registered at 2:30 pm).

Please note, Ukraine has recently been added to the countries eligible for Temporary Protective Status (TPS).  If you are from the Ukraine – without status, and have been in the U.S. prior to March 1, 2022 – you may be eligible to apply. Hunter students will be able to receive legal and financial assistance with this process at the fair.

Pre-registration is not required. All students will be assisted on a walk-in basis.

The fair will include:

  • Legal professionals who will review renewal applications,
  • Staff to take passport photos, and
  • Financial assistance to cover the renewal fees.

For the most efficient assistance, students should bring the application completed to the best of their abilities to review with the attorney. Moreover, they should bring any documents from their most recent renewal, prior approval documentation or any other documents they believe will help with the process.

If you are unable to attend the fair, need help with your DACA or TPS renewal, or have any other questions, please contact Chris Aviles at ca748@hunter.cuny.edu.

We look forward to seeing you and assisting in this process!
