Alpha Phi Chapter
Chartered in 1970, the Alpha Phi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International is the 43rd chapter of the honor society of nursing, with over 400 active members in 18 states in the US and abroad.
Hunter's School of Nursing boasts a vibrant array of student organizations designed to enhance both professional and personal development. From the Nursing Students' Association, which advocates for student interests and fosters community engagement, to specialized groups like the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society that celebrate academic excellence and leadership in nursing, there are plenty of opportunities for students to connect, collaborate, and grow.

College chapter of the National Student Nurses Association. The association provides events and opportunities that facilitate the transition of nursing student to clinical professional and foster a strong sense of community. The group is also involved with the Nursing Students’ Press (NSP), a student-run publication.
The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) at HBSON is dedicated to enhancing the overall academic, social and service experience of masters and doctoral nursing students at Hunter College.
