About the Program
The Hunter College Liberty Partnership Program (HCLPP) is a drop-out prevention program that strives to assist students with graduating from high school and enrolling in a college or university or finding gainful employment upon graduation from high school. HCLPP is funded through the New York State Department of Education and is one of 55 Liberty Partnership Programs across the State providing such programming.
HCLPP is a truly collaborative model in that our program works with the partner school administrators, teachers, and guidance staff to serve our students. We work as a team with our partner schools and are well-integrated in both of our schools. We are relied upon for our expertise in counseling, guidance, and college and workforce preparation and are utilized to enhance the positive development of our youth.
