HunterWorks supports over a dozen paid Internship Coordinators as staff embedded within academic departments and designated by their Department Chair.
Faculty Career Specialists
HunterWorks supports over a dozen Faculty Career Specialists each year to provide career coaching to students and leverage occupational-specific hiring data to inform the Department’s curriculum.
Curriculum Innovation Grants
HunterWorks issues grants each year to faculty who either propose to create new courses or to update their existing courses to better prepare students for landing internships and jobs in the field.
Practitioners-in-Residence
HunterWorks supports Departments with active industry professionals from the NYC ecosystem to teach in the classroom as adjuncts - transferring their skillsets and applied knowledge directly to students - and to collaborate with faculty.
LinkedIn Learning
HunterWorks and ICIT are providing all Hunter College faculty with free unlimited access to over 22,000 online learning modules on the LinkedIn Learning platform that can be easily incorporated into their Department’s educational and resource offerings.
Event Support
HunterWorks supports departmental events such as alumni panels, career fairs, skills workshops, and more designed to improve students’ career-readiness.
