How To Apply
Applicants must first be nominated by a Hunter faculty member. Applications from applicants without a faculty nomination will not be accepted. If you have not already done so, please request that a faculty member nominate you before completing this application.
Once nominated, follow the instructions below:
- Request from two (2) separate faculty members a recommendation letter. Please inform your letter writers that the deadline for the submission of their letters is Monday, March 31, 2025. The MMUF Program will send your letter writers a link to an online form where they may submit their letters.
- Complete this application which includes uploading a two-part personal statement and a five (5) page maximum writing sample submitted for a grade in a recent course at Hunter.
You will have the option to save your progress and resume your submission at a later date. Click the checkbox to "save my progress and resume later" and provide your email address to have instructions be sent to you on how to go back and edit various sections prior to submitting.
IMPORTANT:
- All required fields (marked with a red asterisk *) must be completed for your application to be considered complete.
- Only completed applications submitted by Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM will be considered.
