Missing credits? Here's how you can update your Transfer Credit Report.

Update Your TCR for Credits from a Prior School

Request an updated and official college transcript to be sent electronically to trceval@hunter.cuny.edu.

  • Students currently enrolled in classes outside of Hunter should wait for all grades to be posted on the current school’s record before sending the final transcript to Hunter.
  • Currently enrolled courses appear on Hunter transcript as “CIP = Courses in Progress” until the final transcript is reviewed by Hunter.
Update Your TCR for Advanced Placement (AP) Credit

Request test scores from the College Board are sent electronically to trceval@hunter.cuny.edu. Note that AP Scores/credits do not transfer from prior colleges.

Don’t panic! Your assigned academic advisor will review and discuss your transfer credits at a subsequent meeting.

Email the Transfer Evaluation Team

Meet With Your Academic Advisor

As a non-CUNY transfer, you are expected to meet with your assigned academic advisor prior to registering for classes. Your academic advisor will be assigned after you have attended a Group Advising Session.

Meeting with your advisor is a necessary step to:

  • Analyze and discuss your transfer credits and/or course equivalencies.
  • Clarify Hunter’s graduation requirements with your transfer credit information.
  • Review, discuss and adjust your class schedule to develop a holistic plan.
  • Connect to Hunter resources.

Please keep in mind that academic advisors experience the highest volume of student appointments near the beginning of the semester and you may have to search for meeting dates a week or two in the future.
