Your résumé is the first step of your internship or job search. It does not get you the job, but hopefully a well-written résumé will get you the interview. In addition to a résumé, you may be asked to submit a cover letter. Your cover letter is a place to really show the employer why you’re an ideal candidate for the position at their company.
