Stress Management
Strategies for Success

In this workshop, we'll identify and address unhealthy behaviors before they become a barrier to your success. Learn to better manage your stress levels and reverse unhealthy coping behaviors. We will discuss healthy methods of coping and will equip you with solid strategies to combat the stress in your daily life.

Preventing Procrastination
Finding New Ways of Thinking & Coping with Academic Stress

Are you finding it a challenge to manage competing academic demands, while staying on top of assignments? Falling behind academically can lead to increased stress and can cause problems in multiple areas of one’s life.

This workshop is designed to help you approach your academic demands differently by discovering new pathways of thinking. You will be encouraged to challenge unhelpful thoughts and re-frame your thinking, which can often lend to productive outcomes, including increased focus and heightened academic success.

Fostering Healthy Relationships

Do you struggle to effectively navigate the relationships in your life? Do you experience difficulty having your needs met within relationships?

Join us to learn strategies to enhance self-awareness, while developing self-care skills, to more effectively engage in relationships. Learn conflict resolution skills by developing more effective methods of communication, while learning how to identify the signs of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships.

Combating Social Anxiety:
Enhancing Social Interactions and Academic Success

Do you feel nervous or self-conscious around others?  Are you avoiding social events or classes? It can be difficult to perform your best or feel successful while struggling with social anxiety. Discover how social anxiety can inhibit your ability to form deep connections with others and negatively impact academic performance.

This workshop will showcase strategies to ease social anxiety in both social and academic interactions, and reduce problematic thinking patterns while practicing self-compassion. Develop new skills to help you become more engaged, active, and successful in your social and academic life.

The Power of Mindfulness
Strategies for Enhancing Academic Success

Do you experience difficulty with focus and concentration? Are deadlines and assignments causing you to feel stressed? Is it hard to be productive when faced with life’s daily distractions?
Learn how mindfulness practices can help sharpen your attention and awareness. Enhance your academic performance by reducing stress/anxiety and through cultivating a greater capacity for emotion regulation and awareness.

Experience how mindfulness practices can improve your academic and interpersonal functioning by increasing your capacity for distress tolerance, reducing rumination, and increasing focus and concentration, while you learn new skills to improve your capacity for heightened focus and concentration.

Mastering Anxiety

Do you find it difficult to make friends, focus on academics or feel confident in social situations? Join us for a cognitive behavior therapy informed workshop designed to help you to better understand how your thoughts can impact your feelings and behaviors.

Learn skills to reduce excessive thinking, social anxiety and stress related to academic performance and social interactions. This workshop is designed for undergraduate students who wish to better manage their anxiety and stress levels.
