Xuemeng Li is a full-time faculty member at Hunter College, City University of New York. She primarily teaches statistics courses in the Department of Sociology. She researches with both quantitative and qualitative methods and publishes on drug and tobacco use in China, race and ethnicity, and Black-Asian relations. Before coming to the United States for her PhD, she received her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Sociology from Nanjing University, China, and a graduate certificate in International Economics and Politics from Johns Hopkins University–Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies.
