Emily K. Crandall is a doctoral lecturer in Women and Gender Studies. She holds a PhD in Political Theory from the Graduate Center, CUNY. Her research interests include environmental political thought, feminist epistemology and philosophy of science, and political theories of work and labor. She teaches classes at the intersections of intellectual history, critical theory, politics, and science. She is currently working on turning her dissertation, “Imagined Futures: Feminist Science Studies in an Era of Climate Change Denial,” into a series of articles. She has co-authored work published in Theory & Event and with Routledge Press. Outside of the classroom, Emily spends time making podcasts about books and popular culture.
