Mignonette Chiu has taught in WGS departments at Hunter College, Barnard College, and the University of Missouri, where she was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department. Dr Chiu received her BA English from Wesleyan University; an MA in international comparative education from Teachers College, Columbia University; and a PhD in political science from Columbia University. She specializes in immigration/migration; transnational feminisms; global/globalization studies; ethnic studies; critical race studies; and Asian American/diaspora studies.
