About

Graduates of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Hunter College.

General Information

Since the late 1960’s and the founding of the School of Health Sciences, Hunter College has provided excellence in physical therapy education. The DPT Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 3030 Potomac Ave., Suite 100, Alexandria, Virginia 22305-3085. For additional information on our graduates’ performance on the Physical Therapy licensure examination, graduation rates and employment rates, please go to our cohort profiles.

We invite you to attend an information session after you have perused "Admissions" for an opportunity to meet with faculty, learn more about our program, and have all your questions answered. Information sessions for the DPT program are scheduled several times across the year. Admissions takes place through the Hunter College Graduate Admissions office. Please note that we do not participate in PTCAS.

For other information about the program, including tuition, housing, and other frequently asked questions, please see the FAQ section.
