Participation Eligibility

To ensure that you are invited to the Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony your name is included in the Commencement Program, you must apply to graduate by April 1, 2025.

The Commencement Ceremony is the celebration of graduation, or impending graduation, and is held at the conclusion of the Spring semester each year.

You will receive an invitation to participate in the Commencement Ceremony and receive access to guest tickets if you have applied to graduate through your CUNYfirst account and meet one (1) of the following conditions:

1. You have successfully fulfilled all degree requirements.
2. You will successfully fulfill your degree requirements by the end of the Fall, Winter, or Spring semester.
3. You need six (6) or fewer credits to complete your degree requirement by the end of the Summer session.
