Other expenses or “Indirect Cost”

Your indirect cost will depend on several factors, including full-time vs part-time enrollment, if you are a New York state resident, and where you will be living. Indirect expenses may include things like on-campus housing, textbooks, transportation, and other related needs. Remember, not all indirect expenses will be applicable to all students, this is just an estimate.

Review Other Expenses

The remaining unmet costs may be addressed through additional means that may be available through the academic department of which you have applied for admission, including:

  • Graduate assistantships
  • Traineeships in Nursing (US Departrment of Health & Human Services)
  • Traineeships in Communication Sciences and Rehabilitation Counseling (US Department of Education)
  • Fellowships in Environmental Health
Payment Plans

Additionally, the Nelnet Payment Plan provides both you and your family the option of paying tuition and fees over a period of up to six months. Such flexibility reduces the stress of paying all tuition and fees before the academic term begin. An added bonus, this plan remains interest free!
