A Warm Welcome from the Dean

Welcome to Hunter College’s School of Arts and Sciences! As I embark on my twentieth year at Hunter yet first year as Dean, I’m thrilled and energized to lead us during this incredibly important time, where there is so much opportunity for innovation, transformation, and growth. Our school is a vibrant hub, bustling with over 14,000 students and an incredible array of undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates spanning the humanities, arts, social sciences, natural sciences, and groundbreaking interdisciplinary fields. With more than 30 departments and programs, we’re all about pushing boundaries and exploring new academic and creative frontiers.

We’re passionate about celebrating our students and their amazing journeys.
