The program will start in the Fall 2025 semester (August 2025 – December 2025).

Participants will learn about concepts associated with the college experience, such as majors and minors, college credits, graduation requirements, student life, personal wellbeing, and general professional development. • All program participants will receive a grant to cover tuition cost of one college level English course (ENG120 - 3 college credits) during Fall 2025 semester.
  • All program participants will be guaranteed admission to Hunter College for the Spring 2026 semester as a full-time matriculated student if they complete a NY state GED® Test with a minimum score of 680 to earn a NY State High School Equivalency Diploma by December 23, 2025, and receive a grade of B or better in the assigned college level English course.
  • All program participants will be matched with tutors free of charge to assist them with succeeding in their English 120 course.
  • Participants will be introduced to various cultural and social science fields such as film, literature, and psychology through special presentations by scholars in these areas.
