Twenty arts institutions participated in Hunter’s program. Our Mellon Arts Fellowship Program was a catalyst for organizations that historically lacked diversity in staff and programming. It became a component of their expanding DEIA work and Hunter’s fellows became the seed for other programs and projects, or for aligning the organization’s work with a larger vision.
