Sumaiya Ahmed is a junior studying Human Biology with a passion for service, advocacy, and student empowerment. As founder and president of Muslims Giving Back (MGB) at Hunter, she spearheads initiatives to support under-served communities. Chosen by Hunter's Provost and President. She serves on the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, shaping Hunter's future. She also volunteers with Halal Food Connections, feeding hundreds weekly. Ahmad Waraich is a junior majoring in biology. He previously served as President of the Pakistani Students Organization, and partnered with USG to co-host one of the college's largest Iftar nights. This year, as Sophomore Senator, he works closely with the Finance and Cultural Affairs Committee to support student organizations. With three years of experience as a club leader, Ahmad, as Vice President, hopes to expand resources for clubs, foster unity, and ensure student needs are met.

Her dedication to cultural enrichment and student advocacy makes her a strong candidate for re-election to foster an inclusive campus.

Alexander Colotl, a Computer Science major and co-president of the Mexican Student Union, shapes the Hunter College experience. He organizes cultural events to empower Mexican students. As External Affairs Commissioner, he will keep students informed through social media and the website, ensuring they stay connected, engaged, and aware of opportunities that enhance their college experience.

Hasan Altaf is a junior majoring in Biology. For the past two years, Hasan has served as the treasurer of the Pakistani Students Organization. From first-hand experience, Hasan is aware of the challenges student organizations face in requesting additional funds and utilizing allocated budgets. Hasan hopes to make financial resources more accessible for clubs. As finance commissioner, he aims to expand USG collaborations, increase funding for clubs, and advocate for better CA guidelines.

In addition to her governance involvement, Nicole conducts research at The Rockefeller University, working toward a career in Biotech. Hola vvs! Abril Jaimes Moreno is a junior majoring in Psychology and Studio in Art. She is the secretary of Hunter's Mexican Student Union, and helps to operate Brookdale's gameroom. Outside of Hunter, Abril has partnered up with Columbia University's Chicanx Caucus to represent Hunter College in a meeting with the East Coast Chicanx Student Forum. As Residence Hall Commissioner, she is dedicated to providing students with a community and living experience where they can flourish and prosper.

Katherin Ramirez, a junior at Hunter College majoring in Human Biology with a focus on Mind, Body, and Health, is on the Pre-Med Track. She is a member of the CUNY Inclusive Economy program. As a peer mentor and orientation leader, Katherin helps incoming freshmen feel welcomed. She works at the Brookdale campus game room and has been a resident at Hunter. Now running for Student Welfare Commissioner, Rachel aims to represent all perspectives and advocate for CUNY reinvestment—and quality services like the Purple Period Project and Purple Apron Food Pantry.

They work as a medical assistant at a clinic and tutor children while assisting older adults with technology. Becky Koshy, a freshman Biochemistry major at Hunter College, is engaged in academics and extracurriculars. As a General Chemistry 102 Tutor Trainee, she helps students with chemistry concepts. Becky also leads community outreach as Director of Social Work for Heart at Hunter and participates in tours as a Student Admissions Leader. Outside of academics, she's a foodie and book lover.

Chris Panchame, a sophomore Muse Honors Scholar at Hunter, is pursuing a 60-credit Music Performance major and an Arts Management certificate. He plays upright bass for Hunter's Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Workshop, and Combo bands. Chris serves as a Student Admissions and Orientation Leader and hosts a radio show for WHCS. As an intern at The Jazz Gallery, he supports emerging jazz artists. Dedicated to helping students, Chris leads campus tours, answers questions, and greets everyone with a smile.

Keiana Howard is a sophomore majoring in Biochemistry on the Pre-Dental track. She's a tutor at the Skirball Science Center, a member of Hunter's Red Cross, and a part of Rho Psi Eta, a pre-health sorority dedicated to supporting women in STEM. Outside of Hunter, Keiana loves summer adventures. Bringing the heat, shining bright, and making every moment golden, just like summer! Cherry Lin, a freshman at Hunter College, has applied to Hunter's Nursing program and is considering a minor in Economics or Accounting. Although she has not yet taken on a leadership role, she actively attends events hosted by USG and other clubs.
