To encourage diverse participation in study abroad, which serves as a catalyst for personal and intellectual growth, Hunter College’s Education Abroad Office and the Office Student Success and Strategic Initiatives would like to offer a grant intended to support the cost of passport fees for Hunter undergraduate students who would like to study abroad.
The grant would cover up to $145.00, an amount intended to equal the application and processing cost for a United States Passport to 20 students who intend to study abroad and are applying for a passport for the first time. First come, first serve basis. Priority to students who have already applied to a program.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be demonstrate intent to study overseas for credit while enrolled as an undergraduate at Hunter. Applications for passport renewals do not qualify.
