ELIGIBILITY

Candidates for this selective program will be outstanding undergraduate students who meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated interest in dance, music, art, theater and/or art history
  • Be in their junior year as of spring 2022 (earned 60-85 credits)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Member of an underrepresented racial/ethnic group
  • Is U.S. citizen or DACA student

REQUIREMENTS

The Mellon Arts Fellowship Program application requires your personal and contact information, a resume, copy of your academic transcript and answers to four essay questions (approximately 300 word answers each). All applications must also be accompanied by a nominating recommendation letter from a Hunter College faculty member. Faculty members must write a letter on your behalf indicating why you are an ideal candidate for the fellowship program.
