Emergency Procedures

Our public safety officers are on call 24-hours a day, and will respond to any and all reported emergencies as quickly as possible. They work collaboratively with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and will notify them of emergency situations when necessary.

CUNY Alerts

The CUNY Alert system is designed to give immediate up-to-date information on emergency situations at Hunter College. It can be accessed by anyone with a CUNYFirst account and can be customized to provide messages via text, cell phone or landline call and/or email. CUNY makes every effort to inform affected registered users of an emergency in a timely and appropriate manner.
