CUNY Accommodate Tutorial

CUNY Accommodate

Registering for and Managing Your Disability Accommodations

CUNY Accommodate is our new system for managing student disability accommodations. Designed to streamline the accommodation request process, this platform allows you to easily submit, track, and renew accommodations. Whether you're a first-time user or a returning student, Accommodate ensures a seamless experience for managing your accessibility needs.

Below, you will find a User Guide and tutorial videos to help answer common questions.

New to the Office of AccessABILITY?

Register for Accommodations
  1. Log in to the CUNY Accommodate Portal
  2. Follow the steps for a New Confidential Accommodation Request
  3. Upload any required documentation
  4. Submit your request for review

Already Registered?

Renew or Update Your Accommodations
  1. Log in to Accommodate
  2. Select:
    • "Accommodation"
    • "Semester Request"
    • "Add New"
  3. Choose the current semester
  4. Select “Submit for all” OR click “Review” to choose accommodations for specific courses

Important Notes:

  • If you add a new class after submitting your semester request, you must submit a new request for accommodation letters to be sent to your faculty.
  • Once submitted, you will receive an email notification to log in and view your accommodation letter. Professors will receive a similar notification.

Please note that while the Accommodate platform offers new features such as exam scheduling, we will continue using our existing testing arrangement process until further notice. Be sure to contact our testing staff and use the Testing Arrangement Form for all testing accommodations.
