- Check the catalog for major requirements, prerequisites and other critical course information.
- Review the schedule of classes with textbook information.
- Ensure you have met any required prerequisites for courses.
- Schedule an appointment with your advisor through the Navigate Students mobile app to confirm your academic plan.
- Review important Registrar Policies that are applicable to you.
- Register for classes by logging into your CUNYfirst account and using Schedule Builder to plan out your schedule around your specific needs.
- Pay your tuition and fees to maintain your enrollment.
- If available, use the waitlist, get permission or overtally if a class you need or want is full.
- Add, swap or drop classes as needed to adjust your schedule.
